אדם נאור הביט מהצד על סגנון חייהם של שני חבריו ,
חשב  ולאור המצב – החליט להציג להם  את השאלה הבאה :
אם היו מציעים לכם היום לקבל מצדו האחד מיליון דולר ?
או לבחור לשוב לאחור בזמן ולהיות צעיר אך לקבל בנוסף את חוכמת החיים שלך
היום בייחד עם המראה החדש ? חשבו היטב במה הייתם בוחרים ”
החבר הטוב הזה ששאל זאת את חבריו הכיר אותם היטב ולכן רצה לעזור מצדו בכדי להקל עליהם .
הראשון ענה במהירות – כמובן שאקח לי את מיליון הדולר עכשיו ,
זה יפתור לי את כל הבעיות ואוכל לחיות בעושר מעתה ,
זה גם זמין לי הרגע , עדיף שאנצל זאת עכשיו . השני ענה – חייתי חיים מלאי מהמורות ,
המעלות וההזדמנויות נכרו בדרכי , אך רק היום השכלתי להבין אותם ”
כי הרי אם אשוב לאחור בזמן ותינתן לי ההזדמנות לבחור ולשנות וגם אקבל את צעירותי , תמימותי ,
החן , הניסיון הרב בשילוב השכל הישר , אוכל לגשר על כל מה שנקרא בדרכי ולהגשים את היעוד שלי עם עצמי –
ההשלמה , האהבה וההנאה , החיבור לשורשים , ההבנה וההגעה למהות שלי ‘ שהוא אכן תוכן קיומי ,
ימלאו את החלל , את החסר – המכל .
